Beauty as We See It

In life we have beauty surrounding us. Beauty is everywhere, we just have to look carefully. An example would be this picture, a simple finding on a quiet afternoon. Sure at a first glance you focus on the painting and you judge it by how it looks but then you notice the quote and the more poetic it sounds the more attracted you are. It is certainly attention-grabbing, but then you start to think what the quote is actually telling you. Now this is the fun part, because it contains many interpretations, and when it comes to interpreting a piece of art, it's mostly "to each their own." This graffiti can have multiple meanings, one of which could be that one person in the relationship is humble and "down to Earth" while the other one is "the stars" meaning he or she tends to be a little more ambitious; or it could mean the distance between the two. The Earth revolves around the sun and it will continue to do so for many more years, but they probably won't get close enough to touch. The distance, the longing, and the desire to know more about each other is evident because they can't rely on physical touch to satisfy their craving for one another. The scorching sun and the delicate Earth won't touch unless there's a stimulant, but even then it will mean danger to both parties because the balance of their environments will be disturbed. Ultimately, they are two different beings separated with just enough distance that they feel the sadness and longing which intensifies their desire for each other. Most of the time your interpretation of a quote can show where you are in life, whether you interpret it as defining two star-crossed lovers or a sense of humbleness and ambition. If you stop and take in the beauty, you can discover a lot about yourself. Sometimes we don't think much about a simple picture other than for its aesthetic purpose, but every once in a while it is a good idea to stop and analyze the beauty and art in which we encounter. One simple piece of art has the power to capture out attention and one simple quote has the power to get us to reflect about our life. Now you tell us, what does this quote mean to you?

Hi! And welcome to Tenaehcious! We know you’re all excited about the future posts we’re going to publish, but don’t get your panties in a bunch, we’ll only be posting once a year...kidding. Anyway, let us tell you a little bit about ourselves. We are two full-time college students with jobs trying to maintain a healthy social life (not really) all while still trying to find ourselves in this crazy world. So now you’re probably wondering why we created a blog if we’re so busy. Well, to be honest, this is an excuse to procrastinate on our work. In fact, instead of studying for our upcoming test we sat in Coffee Bean and made this whole site until 10pm…see? dedication right there.

Now let us move on to how this website works. So right now you're on our main page where we will be posting our collective thoughts, and hopefully communicate with you guys. Aside from this page, we each have our own individual pages located in "M&R". Here we will be posting about our own interests and likes, such as our different tastes in music or shows.

Apart from our main blog pages we also included some small sections for fun, including "Advice" and "Fun Stuff". Our advice section is meant for positive interaction in which we will gladly provide counseling; don't worry we took Psychology 101. Secondly, in "Fun Stuff" you'll be able to find games and other stuff  to keep you entertained. Feel free to let us know of any fun stuff you do when you're bored. Remember, we're all in this together.

In conclusion, we hope you guys enjoy this blog as much as we have fun working on it. Hopefully we can all have fun together and connect as we all journey through life. Life is short so lets try to enjoy it to the fullest. As the great master Yoda once said, "Always pass on what you have learned." So young grasshoppers, spread the word about our website, thanks.

Yours Truly,
Tenaehcious.
